this is good stuff right here! as a veteran of ODS, Croatia, and Somalia i absolutely believe in taking care of our troops. my dad and his youngest brother fought in Viet Nam. my uncle suffered from severe ptsd (depression, flashbacks, violent rage fits, etc) after his 3 tours with the 101st Airborne (Air Assault!!) he was finally relieved of his torture in November '98 when he put a gun to his head. i hope and pray another single soldier, sailor, airman, or marine ever goes through what he did because his country simply did not care or understand. every swingin richard on this forum with an ounce of love fer yer freedom better sign this!

i work with a young guy who just returned from iraq with his reserve unit. last night i had the opportunity to buy him lunch at our plant cafeteria and let him share what he saw and how things are going over there. although he seemed upbeat and positive, i could see a real change in him. it's hard to explain, but i know that NO man is ever the same after experiencing combat. i don't care how tough you are, you have to decompress when you get back, if not, you'll bust.
