I just bought my truck, it is a 1992 GMC Sierra 4x4.  I want to get rid off the IFS and put in a Dana 60.  Does anybody know where a man can pick one of these up without breaking the bank???  

you know i acually wish i knew the answer but the answer really is that you cant get one for under 1000 bucks unless you find an idiot that doesnt know what he has so youll probally just have to get one that is going to hurt the bank.  

i have bought whole axle assemblies from salvage yards for a few hundred bucks. these are pretty common and not hard to find, especially if yer willing to remove it yourself. a lot of yards will flip the vehicle over for you to make it easy. (no crawlin in the weeds with the snakes and spiders!)
