As some of you already know we've started building a brand new project Yamaha Rhino 700. Recently we looked into the idea of turbo chargers but are still on the fence about it. Any of you Rhino fans out there with a recomendation, based on actual experence?  

In case any of you were wondering, I decided not to proceed down the Turbo route with our Project Rhino.
My investagation about turbocharging Rhinos led me to believe that my fuel economy would drop below acceptable levels, shortening the range of the unit and requiring pre-mixed 110 octain gas with regular unleaded at a 50/50 ratio. It seems like more hassle than it's worth to me.
Instead I think I'm going to simply have some head work done to the engine.  

I run the 50/50 in all of my KTM's and polaris'....kinda spendy more so than a pain.
I would think the economy/life span will due to how it would get used rather than just cuz of having the turbo..

stroke it instead! my 580 ktm started life as a 400. It really ticks people off when I stop and they catch a glimps of the 400sx sticker.  

I'd go into the motor first Robin, do something like a big bore kit and some cams, that should really wake it up!

Really though, I'd bore out the cylinders, stroke it, install new cams, exhaust, and the sweet intake the K&N makes for them now.  

any body hear bout the law suit some moron is trying to start cause they are narrow and tip over?

I call it operator error, not a saftey problem with the vehicle...
now it won't be long before the 4wheelers are banned from production like the 3 wheelers went away...

also the hayabusa smart car that outruns a ferarri! the zuki 1340 ought to be the right medicine! maybe...
the R1 two wheeler looks to be a runner, but no ones boosted it yet, or have they???

I hate how all the comments on vid of that Smart Car beating the Ferrari are all about how he launched too early. Yes, he did launch early, but that doesn't account for a 1.5 car length lead across the line (that's 3 smart car lengths!).
