I have a 2000 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer. It has 17 inch rims with 265/70/17 tires on it.

My buddy gave me a set of 305/70/16 Buckshot tires with a lot of good tread on them. I'm wanting to mount them on a separate set of rims so I can change them out when the weather gets bad or I want to go to the river.

My question is what size of 16 inch rims will fit on my Expedition. 16X7's? 16X7.5's? Are the lugs 12mm, or 14mm?

Thanks for any help.

For the 305s you will want to go with 16x8 or 16x10. I would recommend a small lift, otherwise count on rubbibg to occur. 16x8 are most likely yous best bet. 12mm.

I'd run a 16x8... 16x10 will look goofy... just my opinion... and yea, not real sure they will fit stock... might though...

Thank you guys for the help. I was getting nowhere in any of the other forums.

I'll still have the stock tires so I wanted to get the Buckshots mounted and put on to see if I needed a lift. It's something I was wanting to do anyway. I've got a friend that fit some under his stock Expy and all he had to do was trim the front bumper valance.

Again, I really appreciate your answers. Be safe.
