For my 2002 Subaru Outback, here's the plan:

Lifting 2.5", making custom bumpers, and a skid plate. After that, intake, exhaust, spark plugs and wires, and tuner chip. I'll be ordering parts sometime next week.  

sweet, it'd be neat to see one on a set of 31.12.50's mt style tires,real tonka like!  

I've decided on 28.5" BFGoodrich A/Ts. They're the only tires that are even mildly aggressive that are available in small sizes that fit 16" rims. I can run 15" rims if I grind a 1/4" of material off my brake calipers, but I really don't want to do that. I might get new wheels sometime in the future, but things are already looking more expensive than I hoped for.

I'm going to order the lift kit online either later today (Tuesday) or tomorrow. I don't know how long it will take to get it shipped, but I expect it to be here early next week.  

Hmmm...well, the Subie project has been put on hold. Most of the aftermarket upgrades I wanted to install are no longer being made and nobody seems to have them in stock. I need to focus my attention on my Explorer and 'Yota pickup for now, but after I finish those up, the Subie is next on the list.

I'm thinking the next thing I do to the Outback (when I get the money) is to swap in a Legacy Spec B engine/6 speed trans. I could swap in an Impreza WRX STi motor and trans, but the Outback is just a lifted Legacy wagon, so swapping in Legacy parts will be easier. IIRC, the Spec B motor makes about 300 hp with NO LAG! It'd be hard to make my own turbo kit, get 300 hp, and have no turbo lag.
