Maybe we should make up sub catergories for each project rig? your thoughts?

We had that... nobody used them, they just sat empty. So we got rid of that and switched to this style, now we don't have 10 unused sub-forums cluttering up our forums

But if people start asking alot about a specific project like say Teal Brute I have  no problem giving it back it's own sub-forum...

Good day fellow Off-Road lovers. a quick question about Teal-j. Jan 08 issue,page 80,pic #9. I would like to know where to get the bitchin roll-cage gussets for an early mustang im building for mexican PAN_AM race. OLD JEEPS AND OLD MUSTANGS RULE...nothing else matters.

Anyway those tube gussets came from Joes Racing Products.

Strengthen each tubing joint with out tough wrap-around gusset. Get a low cost, high strength JOES Gusset and weld some real safety and rigidity into your race car chassis. Made from 3060 mild steel sheets. Fits 1 1/2", 1 5/8" and 1 3/4" tubing and joint angles from 70-90 degrees. $1.25 ea.

Thanks for the info on the gussets,MR Stover. I"m stoked.  I will send some pics when I am done.BTW- My rigs are...2-67 jeepster commandos, 1 with 3.8 v-6 power. 1 with FI 360-t400 power,1 Pathfinder 4x4 3/4 ton chevy van for tow-play,70-mach1 mustang-351c-4spd-4:11 posi.Have a wonderful day, Tony.

whatever happened to project SuperBurb? i'm not even sure when this story ran but i'd like to know where it is or what is in the works for it? also how did it wheel?

I purchased project SuperBurb from former tech editor Craig Perronne. I have big plans for it which include a 500 hp 383 stroker, new bumpers, tires/wheels, frame-off resto and interior.
