One of my friends has a 91 Chevy Blazer(full size not an S-10 blazer) siting in his driveway that was his brothers. His parents want to get it the hell out of there so it would be cheap not to mention the blown 350 that would make it cheaper.(Popped head gasket) The T-case is fine so are both axles 12-bolts, as well as the tranny. Im pretty sure it is lifted and has somewere around 31-33 in. tires. All of this could be mine for about 1000 to 1500 bucks because his mom is a "Football Mom" for my highschool team and knows me well. If only my dad would let me buy it.

No such thing as a 12 bolt front drive axle unless someone custom made it and it would not be worth the effort either.

how many lugs do the wheels have,6, 8? if the front axle cover is round, ish and 8 lug its a lighter duty axle,if its kinda angular, uhh longer on one side and has 8 lugs its a heavier axle, ask dad if you sighn a contract to do sumpin good all summer like volunteer some place where it does the most good,if he'll go for it...Maybee?
look on 4 wheel parts wholesalers.com and fool around the site a bit, look at 10 bolt corporate, smaller rounder cover6-8 lugs or a Dana cover ,the covers look the same a "44" or a "60" and see if it looks like one of them,uh and a 44 also came with 8 lugs, happy huntin!

Maybe its not a 12 bolt front. It was dark when I got to look at it. I Am still workin on my dad. I almost had him convinced until I got my ZR-2 now he just says one 4X4 is enough. I might sell my truck if he would let me get the blazer and maybe a 4cyl s10. I cant afford to drive the blazer daily plus that would give me a lot more time to work on it and fix it right. The ZR-2 is a beast, way better than I expected when i bought it but I dont like that it has IFS. I would swap a solid axle in but i dont have the tools or the time.
