yeah, most people flip when they see the "Silverado" badgin in my blazer haha.

no one knew what i meant when i would say "90 K1500" at the parts store or where ever.

ford did the same thing with the ranger/explore/etc

dodge did it too i think, maybe it was a trend haha

How about K1500/2500/3500 like it was last model and one before it. There was no need to rename the whole truck. If I had a 2000 or new "Silvey" I would not call it a Silvey, I would call it a Chevy P/U....

the funny part is, it still has the numerical badging. just now its a "silverado 1500 LTZ" instead of a C/K1500 Silverado.

Well, does not much matter as I am done buying Chevy P/U's. (not because of fuel prices) I did not like Silverado and I like current model with plastic front bumpers even less. I cannot even sit in the cab of a standard cab with my head hitting ceiling in back either (not a problem is my old 2000 nor a new std cab Toyota, Dodge or Ford. Next truck I get will be a Yota or a Ford.

I am 6'2" and about 235 and my 2000 std cab fits me well and is comfortable (it uses 88 to 99 body style, no Silvey 1 ton were built until 2001) It is not a daily driver or comuter per say,. I drive it only when I need a truck. I has only 43.5K on it right now and had 6 miles on it when I bought it.

everyday and long trips were what killed me. short trips and around town was fine, it was more or less long distance that hurt me.

i didnt have the room-e-er bench seat. my uncle had put bucket seats in it when he owned it, way before i bought it.

The bench seat I have has proved comfortable, even on 16 hour plus "plow" days
