Hello hope someone can help me, I have a nissan pickup 1990, need to replace bonnet, wings and lights (lights are square)I have been told that I can get a nissan terrano or ford maverick car same year and use the parts, but its very difficult to find one,

can I use a newer model terrano or a ford maverick with the square headlights would these new models still fit.I have found a maverick that we could use the parts off and the price is very good but dont want to buy it if it wrong

hope some of you guys can offer some help

I'm gona take a wild guess and assume you are not in the U.S. or Canada??? I can not imagine a Ford passenger car being any good to you here. I can give you the phone number to an excellent junk yard near me that has dozens of these Nissan trucks

If the nose of your pup is the same as the terrano and maverick then there shouldnt be a problem transfering parts, now on the ford the headlights are round so youll to need to change the radiator core support, grille, lights and light buckets to fit, the terrano has square lights so in theory the light s should be all you need to change...

...now here in the States if your familier with GM the 73-87 pups and 73-91 blazer/suburban all can interchange body parts with very little mods, just like your nissan pup and terrano/maverick twins. You just have to figure what year range they started with the body style and find out when they quit making that style and that should give you a rough idea if parts are interchangable...good luck!
