Bearing is likely frozen/rusted in housing or possible bearing outer race spin in housing and seized. It is going to take some "force" to break it loose.

soak it in some penetrating oil for a couple days... then heat it up just a bit and soak it with penetrating oil again (pb blaster works great) then try the BFH

I have a 1995 Dodge 1500 1/2 ton 4x4 and need to know where I can get the frame dimensions witout paying $450+ on Mitchel manuals. Have some front axle tracking problems that need to be resolved. All new parts on the front? Does anybody know where I can find that info? Rick woodcut@bellsouth.net

What kind of tracking problems??? A lot of straight axle 4x4's tend dog track a bit due to poor production tolerances and it is not a big deal killer.

Two more spider gears and different splines on axle. ( the well known GM 10.5 14 bolt FF's have 4 spiders with open diff and 3 with posi)

junk yard would be the best bet for "new" spider gears.
i detroit posi is a good upgrade ![]()
it replaced the spider gears on my GM 10.5 14b FF 4 pin.
