Me the wife and her friend, Josh in his prerunner ranger, possibly a couple guys from Desertrangers.com,
Friend Justin in his unimog and he wants to tow me, Josh, and his mog out there with his 18 wheeler hahaha.

I am going for sure with the wife. It's her birthday weekend so this may not turn out to well.
My Toyota still isn't running right so I'll either be limping it around or leaving it at home with the motor gone. We'll have to see.

Hey guys, i have been calling around to make reservations for hotel rooms, and was finding everything booked for that weekend. I found out that there is a big car show that weekend, so it's gonna be CRAZY that weekend! Do you guys want to hassle with the crowds? Or possibly choose another weekend? Myself, i really hate crowds, and will probably pass if it's that weekend.

We have run into that issue before with that car show... It does not effect the dunes but it does make it busy in town... Looks like we may be staying in SLO if everything is booked up...

We've gone on the car show weekend every year for the past five years. The dunes arn't any more crowded than normal and it gives something cool to do in town at night.

I'm going for sure. I'll be there on thursday, hopefully I will be bringing my friends in a 4runner, and cherokee. maybe my cousin in his gmc 2500 will come. Do I need to pay in advance online for my rig?

I've been sort of busy.. but I'm in, assuming nothing major happens. Rig has been up and running, so besides the 10mpg, I'm good.
Will anyone be camping out, or is it too windy?
