For example we we sitting round on saturday night watchin the hbo when my buddys lil bro comes draggin in,mud p to his knees, now hee'd bin doin a good job of genrally making himself an butthead, any way i digress, his wagon was stuck round 2 miles down a turnrow. my buddes 73 blazer had a knock rod 350 under his hood, finally got pestered enough to fire up dying blazer ,gots to go out inna blaze of glory, or blaze or something.we gets out to said wagon and yep, buried as can be.i get elected to hook up chain coz by now its drizzling again.i get inside stuckee, and befor i wave go,,,he did!
i dive for passenger side as inside velour interior getsa fresh mud bath. the rods were k-k-k knoking the tires were a flingin i was a steering backwards foot to th floor,he drags us to the street, and i drive from passenger seat. WELL NOW, lil bro has helped hisself to the budwiser and samiches,we slog in wet tired and muddy the truck hiccuped a few times and died.
lil bro comes out and starts making like a little girl dog, waiving the bottle of beer and sandwich in front of our faces.
ungratefull liddle wretch.
after we walkin back from the re stucking of said ungratefull wretchs wagon,we had a little 3.47 am B.Q.

Living right down the street from a local wheeling spot I have rescued plenty of victis from seasoned mudders to a lady with a mini van trying to make a buck delivering pizza.

My favorite has to be the time I was surfing the local 4x4 boards on a Friday night. I happened upon a thread that was titled "Help needed in ONF" Opened it up and read that some friends of the poster had gone wheeling and got a YJ on 40's stuck in some Fl. goo. They had a Rubicon LJ but it did not have enough to yank the YJ free. The post had a phone number to reach the stranded wheelers and I figured I would call and get some more info. After talking with the guy (I have long forgotten the names) I told him I could be there in an hour and hat I had a winch that should do the trick. We picked a meeting spot so he could lead me to the stranded YJ. I hung up the phone and proceeded to inform my wife what I was going to do and get some extra gear in the truck. About 5 minutes into getting ready, the guy calls back. He asked me what I would be driving (I never said and he never asked before hand). I smirked to myself and said "a Nissan"! I swear you could hear his jaw drop. I then said "I'm leaving now" and hung up. Now my Nissan is well above average, but I relished in the idea that this guy had to be thinking I was coming with a beat up 2wd truck and they were going to be there all night. When I arrived at the meeting spot, the guy and his girlfriend went from loom and gloom to excitement. The YJ was in it deep, but after tieing my truck to the LJ and a tree the 40" tired rig was free. We talked a bit and they had confirmed what I had thought when I hung up the phone. They were happy and appriciative that I came out to help them. I was even back home just after midnight.
