Well, I got the motor back together, but ran out of vacuum hoses so I still don't know if it runs.

I got the great idea from Jason to add some cheap sound deadening material so I can be cool like him, or maybe just so when it fails miserably he can ask me how to get it off. LOL So two layers went on the roof and both doors and I still have a third of a roll left. Not bad for 30 bucks, if it works.

I got a dash back at the offroad swapmeet to replace the one I had thrown away a long time ago. It needs a lot of trimming to fit around the cage, but I think it will fit. Never thought I consider putting a stock dash in a hopup. Ha!

I also started the dreaded to-do list. 24 things to do and 8 things to buy. I really hope I can pull it off.

I checked my rear brakes all is well,  just lots of brake dust.  washed them off reassembled and shes stopping good. I think im gonna need a new trac bar heim it has some play in it.  I also need to get some dyna beeds for my tires.  my balancing is horrible.  

Kevin,  just go in to the mud pit in Asusa.  Let the mud balance it.

I have to get my front window fix and fenders painted.  Oh and get gas.

I so don't even want to hear it, my list has got to be three times as long as yours, and I have less time to work on it...

I don't know, with as long as it's been apart and having the dash out I have no clue if I'll get it to run again... lol

Wow, time is starting to get short, and my truck still won't run. I tried to fire it up and ended up with fuel squirting out of the fuel rail. I'm hoping it's just an O-ring. I picked up some used bumstops and threw them on the front over the weekend to keep my axle from killing my oilpan again. Still have to brace them a little, but you get the idea.

Driver's side bump with strike plate on axle.


Passenger side will bump on the stock leaf spring perch.


Just need them recharged and filled with oil and they should be ready for some abuse.
