HAHAHA we knew they had it coming....the only question is what took so long. It was obvious they were grinding any base of customers into the ground. On the truckblog they mention they sold the "remains of ten magazines".

Yep, I know back in Feb but wasn't sure when it would happen. I wonder what'll happen to the sites

SDRANGER619: who bought TEN?
From Auotblog...
"Update: 4/5/08 9PM (Pacific) -- We have now learned that the company who bought TEN is Internet Pioneering Inc., a small company that runs an online auto accessories store. IPI is located in Mesa, AZ, run by Mike Weinberger (President, CEO, email) and Pat Hammons (Vice President & CFO, phone (480) 654-8015). This can be further confirmed by all of the "Go" ads at the TEN enthusiast sites (see screen shot below), as GoToAutoAcessories.com is owned by IPI."

I am surprised we didn't buy them. We need more truck magazines.

I sense a bit of sarcasm there Doug... lol
I'm glad we didn't buy them, the last thing I would want is to be forced to work on OffRoadWorld... how would that be for irony... lol (the CA guys should get it at least... lol)

What, Jason, you wouldn't want another three or four off-road sites to work your magic on? Slacka.

It'll be interesting to see if the turn in to catalogs.

Not sure if any of you go to any of the TEN sites anymore but they are down now. Not sure what happened or if they are in a cross over or not. Jeeperz is about the only site I visit from them anymore and at that i really dont post to much other than the one big event a year we participate in, the Moab run in April every year... I really like the core group there that only really consists of 20-30 memebers now a days...
