The unimog is replacing my 1980 scout & 2001 crewcab duramax, so my goal is to use it for my wheeling and DD duties. I will also run biodiesel and convert it to use veggy oil. Most of the mods i plan will be sound deadening and make the interior more "wife & Family" friendly.
I want to be able to carry my pop top camper but go where my scout was able to go.
I will probably not do much to the drive train, maybe a winch and lights, but Ma benz seemed to have engineered a bullet proof drive train so i will leave it alone....although it may get a turbo eventually. : )

Probably as good as Kermy. Everyone thought I was nuts when  I decided on the Kermy Green....well, OK...i may still be nuts...
