93 GMC Z71 Lift Vs. Tires?

I have a 93 Gmc Z71 I have a 4 in Suspension Lift, and I have been running 33*12.5*15Rs on it and I want to know if I would be able to fit 35s On my truck without any further lift, I have a full exaust system and cold air intake. thank you for your time.

I suspect you are going to need some body lift of a few inches or fender trimming. You also need some new axle gears as you are already straining tranny with 33's and suffering from performance loss and 35 will make it worse yet and when tranny fails you will likely blame tranny even though lift and gear cause it not a cheap tranny.

I need your opinion on lifting my 97 gmc z71. I have finally decided to lift my truck 4"s, but I don't know which brand to buy. Also, have you had any problems since installing the lift? I know that this has nothing to do with your ?, but any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks you.

from my expierence, a 4" lift won't cause to many problems, just rusty bolts. I would recommend doing a wheel alingment just to make sure everything is in line. if the lift was any bigger you might have to do something with the drive shafts because it would be too much of an angle and would cause the u joints to go out pre maturely. for the brand it depends on how much you want to spend, the more money you spend the better the lift. if you want expensive i would choose skyjacker, but for cheaper but still good i would choose pro comp. Also, make sure you have everything because some lift kits only have blocks and lift spindles which in my opinion isn't very good because everything is still stock and isn't made for that.
