Who has run the fastest at Bonneville in a four bye? what kind of vehicle was it? and how fast did it go.

i don't know that an actual 4x4 has ever made a valid run at the salt flats... but there are several diesel truck records... and some modified and unmodified pickup's

Yea when i looked it up there was no actual truck listed, but the record set on a vehicle USING 4wd was 287! magin that.some kinda car hybrid.sounds like a possible new way to set a record,whos gonna be first? i think that a max effort diesle would have the easyest time of it,if a low enough gear could be pushed,hmm instead of 0 to 60 and 1/4 mile times,top the great bugger out.ive heard rumors of 150 out of some 3/4 ton trucks round here.hey wonder if u tube has a top speed video!
