Ide say buy a 02 up dodge! but thats just a really biased opinion.when i first got mine i decided i was gonna tow and carry heavy stuff, and do recverys of my buddies lesser able trucks.Ask.what will i be using it for, actually for loads and stuff? maybe a 3/4 ton would do it. manuverability,a smaller trucklet.more a people mover? you get the picture, what are you going to do most and where? mud, rocks sand, all around. my personal Opinion is use the tool that feels good.find a truck ya feel good using and your gonna have a ball! jeep seems to have the after market cornered in the adventure road type wheeling,,for example, look at the posting by Mudb8,look at the stuff he's doing! col innit.dodge has the Power Wagon.locking differentials front and rear, which are also limited slips when unlocked, and numerous other enhancemants, making it the most capable full size truck on the market.ford has a wide selection of engine tranny combos, toyota is legendary. durable, buildable etc.hope my humble opinion has shed some light.happy wheelin

If you go Dodge 3/4 ton and up, you want a 03 or later for a stronger front axle than 95 to 02. (bad part is there is no disconnect on it so it is always turning diff and drive shaft stealing fuel even in 2wd.

Well thats a pretty vague question...

Ford.

Post some more details like what you want to do with it and I'm sure you'll get more detailed answers.
