How high can ya lift a 04-06 tahoe? know theres different suspensions to deal with ,and auto trac? issues with a lift. why? what if any would be the best combo in the stock suspensions to lift easiest?
looks like 6 inches is the biggest ive seen, some say i can put up to 37" tire.i like the bulldog look,so i was lookin to put a13.50 to 15.50 wide tire,an between 35" to 38" inches,i'll probably trash the front in really short order.i wonder if the 5.3 is an ls motor and if a 6-or 6.2ltr would go in,or an 8.2,or a 632ci RAT with a 5600 and a 271 tcase,w/ a 4 link.front an rear, long arm.or maybe just enough room for 35.13.50 micky thompson ld range E a/t's and a firmed up suspension.

I think 6" is the largest I've seen, could be wrong though,  have been before, will be again...

That would be a pretty sweet ride right there...

e bay motors has a black one w/35's,looks sweet, cant say sick ,cause its still a tahoe, and not tall ,wide solid axle converted enough, but in the dark secret underbelly of fourwheeler world, there are stirrings...

CST makes a 6-8" lift. I've never used them, but it looks to be a pretty well designed kit. I would recommend checking out their website and giving them a call for how the autotrac system will work and if you'll need a new driveshaft.

thanks for the info, reallly would like to see if 38/15.50 tires would fit ,but even if they did,ime pretty sure i would kill the front end,in very short order.i dont wheel heavy, sand and stuff, but i think in deep sand, ide stress the axles enough to make an oily mess on the sea turtles nest.but it would look the felines posterior, goin down the road, ime no poser though,if its on the truck, its there for the use! probably 36/15.50 mickys would fill the wells, wonder what krawlers would doo?

post script My main problem is trying to get some thing to work ,waaayyyy out of its design perameters, thats half the fun,  doing what it isnt 'sposed to do and doing it well! guess only cubic money is what'll make it do wonders, and end up witha strange beasty, better reign in my imagination, and stay usable, sure would like a solid front and rear 4 linked, with a rotated 'case to relieve the angles, but just not yet!happy wheelin!
