would a one speed transfer case be possible? it would differentiate just like a normal 2 speed,would the internals be awfully different? i figure it would be more efficient at power transfer,less parts and all,so it would be more reliable.Smaller also,so it would tuck better. I figure the mfg's could make a tranny,say seven speed,the 1st two gears would be the low/high range,and the rest for every day use.Some one already do this? dont really need low and high since gear spread could take care of the needs. but i figure it would make more efficient use of available torque.happy easter wheelin!
