I am going to install a 1 inch carb spacer do I need to adjust the air fuel mixture after doing this?

You may have to adjust the idle mixture some because the increased plenum area cause by spacer may cause it to lean out a bit due to a change in vacuum pulse intensity and ramp/curve.
