i was wondering how much modifing is required to get a 1 ton or 3/4 ton front axle into my 2001 1/2 ton

A gas 3/4 ton axle of same model year is the same axle except for hubs so nothing is gained really. (a 3/4 ton CTD would have a D60 up front) A 1 ton that model year would have a D60. 2003 and later 3/4 and one ton have same axle which is different from earlier ones. It is a AAM 9.25 and is a sturdy unit. This later axle should bolt in pretty easy.
