info on the car... 1980 Subaru Station Wagon GL EA81 Station Wagon, 3rd Eye/passing light, HD tube rear bumper with recovery points, front grille guard, roof rack Drivetrain: 1.8L CCR built engine, weber 32/36 intake, dual exhaust (no cats), 8" custom lift by john mudrat with a subframe, EA82 5 speed High Low 4wd transaxle, divorced nissan transfer case (subaru and nissan low ranges), approx low range of 60:1 4.11 EA71 gears front and rear, Limited Slip Front differential, lincoln locked rearend, 15x8 redrilled chevy rims, EA82 front struts, EA82 rear coilovers, 1/4" steel sleeved and re-enforced strut arm, 1/4" steel plated and re-enforced control arms, pwr steering, 31" mud terrain tires and various other mods...

Thats my Lifted Subaru before I sold it. They are fun to tool around on Forrest Service roads etc, but they aren't rock crawlers.

Well, I guess I should submit my little beast.

![]() Its a 86 Subaru EA81 Hatchback. Stock engine except for a Weber carb and a Cherry Bomb muffler. Has a sub frame with Nissan divorced t-case, with welded 4.11 diff in the rear and open 4.11 diff up front. Still has a stock 5spd D/R, but gearing is vastly improved. Sits on 30x11.50x15 Super Swampers, which do fine in all compounds but snow. Its to light and I ride on top getting no traction. Also have a Warn 6000lb winch mounted in front.

here is mine its an 86 gl X cab (was a wagon i chopped it) now itsa 2 door with a bed it has the 5 speed D/R ea82 with a 32/36 weber. its not lifted but has 205 r 15s on 6 lug chevy blazer wheels.
when i first di the tires
after bumper and paint
after top choped and hach moved to the front.
