Does anyone know if it is possible to put 285's instead of 265's on a 1991 Chevy half ton without any lift on it at all? It's obvious it will work in the back, but i'm worried it might rub in front when i turn.

Just remember that with that look, your truck has LESS pulling power unless to regear axle because tires raise effective gear ratio and make it taller. It also increase strain on tranny and then when it fails people blame it on "junk" 700R4's not the tires and axle ratio that caused the problem. There are no free lunches here.
