Will a receiver hitch from an 84' suburban bolt right on to an 80' chevy k10?

They will be the same width, but you will notice that the frame rails of the suburban tapper down at the rear.  The pick up frame rails are straight.  You can make it fit, but you will have to use excessive shims and longer bolts to have the reciever and ball mount level.  Ideally use a reciever for the pick up.
