i got 30 under my stock s-10  could have fit 31 but they would rub  i heard if you crank the torshen bars and put in a 2 inch add a leaf you can fit 32s  but that doesn't help out you suspension very much

in my opinion the s10 is the better choice against the newer jeeps because lets face it the jeep market has gone down hill on the power and shear wheelin ability.
Now if we were talking 70s and back jeeps there is just no comperison. and anyone who disagrees should not be wheelin

s10 lets face it the jeep market has gone soft with a lack of power and shere wheelin ability since the mid 80s now if we were talking about the rough rugged 70s and back jeeps where they didnt care about comfort and a smooth ride there would be no comperison. and if anyone disagrees they shouldnt be wheelin

For once, I agree with Snoman! As long as you don't get stupid big, S10 IFS is fine. I had a '94 ZR2 with 32X11.5's and I beat it like Hebrew slave constantly and I never broke it.....had to hurry up a lot of hills to turn around and help the jeeps up it though.   p.s. notice the military junked the jeeps in FAVOR OF A IFS HUMMER????? WELL??????

Snoman is absolutely right! The military did away with Jeeps in favor of IFS Hummers!!! I had a '94 ZR2 and beat it like a Hebrew slave constantly and it never broke(even with 33's) If it's gonna be a daily driver and a weekend warrior, go get a S10!!

actually, the jeeps that the military replaced were ifs/irs models. the reason for the change was do to the need for more room for carrying all the new equipment. and if you wanna get down to the fine nuts and bolts, the military humm v's are far supeior to their civilian cousins, that tend to break at the mere thought of offroading

well one of my buddies told me i could get 33s on my '88 blazer if i did a 3" body lift and some serious trimming of fenders and help from a sledge hammer. or i think he said a 2" body lift. chariot, you can get a disposable camcorder at walmart or somethin for really cheap and they hold like 90 mins of film on them.

cool, i didn't know they made those.....LOL. i thought you were scrapping the plans for the blazer and doing your truck instead. either way, you might be able to get spacers for your suspension (i know muscleman won't wanna read this) jeep has spacers that go with the coils to provide lift without spending alot of coin. maybe you can find something like that. heck, maybe the jeep unit will fit on your s10.
