Here goes, most of you will hate me for this but. I'm going to take the truck down to frame and start with basically a frame off resto. The trucks in good shape so i wont have to much work to do body wise. i want 1 ton axles under my truck, thinking ARB air lockers 4.88 gears, got to go 37's cause im thinking longwheel base need as much height as i can get. Six inch lift using ORD's tuff country with shackle flip and quick disconnect for the sway bar. I seen a trick done on K5 website where they took a ford f150 shock mount and installed it to extend the shock mounts in order to get more flex out of the front springs. Heres a good question for you guys though. If you have a long wheel base truck and you lift it six inches and add a tcase doubler on it there buy extending the length, will i need to get bigger drive shafts for it?

maybe media blast the frame ta get the corrosion off.then put a cool color.maybe to match the paint your planning? paint the axles a matte black .or maybe rhino line the bugger.and never worry bout it again..maybe. maybe line the tank also.whats cool is if you line the outside bottom(engine compartment-bottom,and back of cab of it) to cut the noise and heat down,or maybe "dynomat" the inside too and REALLY cut down the noise, yes its important.happy wheelin!

color scheme is going to be satin black with semi or gloss black frame, accents, axles, damn near everything else on the body and rhino liner in the bed of the truck FTW!
