These months always seem to be slow Art...

I know personally that my truck is still down, thus the reason I'm not out planning trips.

So how's you're truck coming? Haven't heard much about it lately...  

its parked, but its up and running.. i mall crawl occasionally just to keep the springs flexy

not sure why these months are the slow ones, there's snow in the mountains, we haven't had snow this good as now for a while, but I was surprised that there was no run  

Plan a trip! We need more people than just Kevin to plan stuff... Shoot, I used to plan stuff all the time. People rarely went, but thats another story... So yea, pick some trails and a time far enough out for everybody to plan on and get one going!  

I posted a couple times back in Jan but wasn't too much interest, guess people are busy with stuff

Nothing wrong, just upgrades. Working on some suspension stuff, dialing it in. And the cab is gutted getting a roll cage. Things like that.  

ah, upgrades, that makes up most of the downtime for guys like us

you keeping a build site with pics or anything like that?  

My build site has been Off-Road Magazine. I've been doing updates on the website but lately have fell behind, it's just been so busy here lately.  

i just went out last sunday night. got stuck in cleghorn in about 2 feet of snow.  

it was a spur of the moment run with a couple guys from wrangler forum.  

my jeep is under maintenance repairs right now.
my new axle ujoints from alloy USA just arrived, and so did my new steering stab and i need to buy new tie rod ends from moog next.    i love gettting parts in the mail.  

Scout and Jeep looking for others to do some back county wheeling in So Cal. Big Bear-Arrowhead Wrightwood or anywhere else semi local. Fire roads with snow and mud. No rock crawling or other too extreme. Winch, 4WD, Chains, CB’s, Beer, Fried Chicken, etc...

hmmmm  my jeep should be up and running.    bensweather is saying sat and sunday the weather is gonna get bad.
i hope the bad weather comes friday.  

Who's going to Tierra Del Sol next weekend? Just about all of the editors of the off-road mags will be out there. The weather forecast for Ocotillo Wells is sunny weather and 80 degrees by the end of the week. Sounds good to me---is anybody else here going?  

I should be out at TDS next weekend, for Saturday anyway... I think I've got a truck to drive out there... lol
