Just replaced the Lh front axel on 94 Chevy Z74.

The flange mount on the transfer case keeps popping out
I knock it back in and it good for a few days.
What holds it in , I'm assuming its a clip on the flange itself. Do I have to tear down the tranfer case to replace the clip?
Is it possible the axel is the wrong one, the auto parts store said there two options anti lock brakes or not, mine has anti lock so thats the on I installed.
The old axel did not do this however it was very worn out on the wheel end.

At the inboard end of the axle, the six hole flange that bolts the axel to the transfer case. It pops out of the transfer case about 1" and the axle/flange rubs on the frame.
