your idea of a sleeper is what I own...It took a 650 to make it operate without sucking off the powervalve all the time..I've been messing around with the carb combos and boost for years...I've even had crossfire injection on it...ever been up to 140 on the fwy in a 4x4?

Of course you need a big carb with a super because you are "sucking" up to 50% more air at times. I was doing that stuff, (except crossfire) over 30 years ago. Back in the late 60's and early 70's it could take 3 to 5 months to even get a new 4x4 truck. They were few and far between. FIrst 4x4 was a 67 chevy and it was not very old when I had it either.
