I drive a 1997 GMC sierra C1500. I have a 3 inch body lift on it right now with 33x12.50s and 15" wheels. I'm planning on putting Fabtech's 2wd 7.5" suspension lift on my truck. It will lift the rear 5" and the front about 7". I was wondering if 37x13.50R17's would do the trick.

snoman will be on in no time to explain the importance of regearing your axels if you want to go that big with tires. As for tire design and brands it depends what kind of terrain you will be hitting.

if you plan on a fabtech lift see what they recommend on the 2wd lift.the tire size you listed would work w/close to 10" of lift in the frt but being a 2wd you need to regear it and i would put a posi or locker if it dont have the G80 option in your glove box. you dont want to under power it by not regearing it cause you dont want to get stuck anywhere.
