i think you drive the studs out and it falls apart. use a brass punch though!!

finally got everything pulled apart, cleaned, and painted..going to start putting everything back together tomorrow..to bad im at the end of my budget, it would have been nice to put in a set of gears and some kind of locker..curious as to what everyone else is using for a dana 60 locker/slip?? i still need to order new ubolts and get new brake lines when i put it in..thanks for all your help..

im putting th hub/rotor assembly on..how do i get the hub/rotor assembly to seal on the spindle? if i tighten the axle nuts will that seat it? or do i need to use a hammer?

pretty good...after new bearings, seals, u-joints, calipers, pads, rotors, lockouts, and paint job i was able to get the axle under the truck...ever see a chevy truck fall to the cement floor without a front axle?!! had a jack stand buckle on me..oo well atleast the truck can take a punch...turned out great..only drove it a little because im getting ready to put a detroit locker in the rear...
