use a period. like this... 5.13 that will allow the calculator to do it's thing. the second calculator will fill in the ratios automatically after you have selected the correct tranny, desired ratios, tire size,(metric or inches), leave the underdrive thing blank,  and then click on step 6...calculate. they all magically appear!
the second column is for side by side comparison.

prices vary if there are no hard parts needing to be replaced, around 300 for parts including a convertor 1-150 for labor...a core usually under 125.
TCI is a well built unit for about 1500 bucks

Okay thanks mud, by using the calcutlator, at 75 mph my truck with 35 inc tires, .7 overdrive, 4.56 gear ratio and t case ratio of 1:1 i got an rpm of 2,300 rpms whcih sounds like a good cruising rpm, now i understand what you guys are talking about the riding the stall, but how do i know what the stall speed is on the 700r4, i good ratio would be one that alows the converter to lock up thus not riding the stall and not overheating the trans right?

Right,....around 1800rpm on a stock converter, I use 22-2500 stall for my rigs.
the 4:56 is still a bit tall for a 700 to live in od at speeds around 50-65 it will never quit switching gears unless you manualy put in 3rd, defeating the purpose of the 700.
