Jegs has the trans axles for the GT 500,i was curios,Uhhgain... take the units mount them front and rear make an adapter plate to cover and accept the yoke from a new skool 3 or 4 speed t case,but witha thingummy to reverse the spin to the front tranny, then put stubshafts etc to drive wheels. Let me see tranny,,nv56OO,tcase 3 speed and the 5 speeds in each transaxle.Ohhh and dont forget the gear reduction at each axle ,let me see,SAY 6.01 first gear and 6.0 tcase low,3.0 transaxle low plus 2.0 gear reduction at wheel,hmm@1000ftlbs input gives 216,000lbs tourqe at the wheel. I think...now with 6 speeds tranny X 4 speed tcase X 5 speed in transaxle you get 96 forward speeds and 20? reverse speeds,unimog eat yer heart out! top end would get your great grandkids licence revoked,bottom is 216.to 1,gear ratio would it run,, Maybe...
