Hi all, I am new to these forums, been lurking but first posts.
Ok now to the question, I have a 2005 Ford Expedition (oversized mini-van I know!) But I seen a 2.5 and 3 inch "lifts" or leveling kits, all I am looking for is to raise my Expedition a little to stop from dragging on the big rocks in the dirt roads I sometimes frequent, not really serious about offroading this thing, not the best rig, but just a little bit to get the big rocks off the bottom? Are these kits worth it? Would I need longer shocks?? Sorry if I am a complete newbie. Especially to IFS and IRS stuff! Thanks for any replys!

longer shocks are usually a plus even without a lift, they usually bottom out before the suspension gets anywhere near fully extended, some of the expeditions have airbags in the rear coils. that may hamper a lift. maybe some spacers for a couple inches would work?
