Try to stay away from GoodMark Industries.
They have really screwed up my order of sheetmetal for my suburban.
I happens that the idiot at Goodmark who took the order over the phone got it all wrong ( part numbers) and also put in my wrong phone number.
After waiting three weeks, I called goodmark and was told to call their shipping company with their tracking number. Turns out- my parts were siting at the JFK hub for two weeks because of their ***
After calling Goodmark and speaking to Mr. Gray -he apologized profusely, told me that he had corected everything and that I was to open the boxes prior to signing any manifest.
After three more days, the parts came by Shea trucking. the boxes were dentd and beat up. I attempted to open a box to look at my anticipated sheetmetal and was told by the trucking guy that I had to sign first that I recieved it. And that after I open it , It's mine and they cannot take it back. This was the agreement the trucking company had with goodmark.
I pointed out to the dim witted ruffian that the boxes are dented and I am not accepting any shipment until i inspect all parts ( these were two big fenders and inner skirts). He said no. And I said I refuse shipment. They left with the parts.
I called Goodmark within 5 minutes and left a message with Mr. Grey. He could not even call me back personally- but instead had a stooly call me back and he took an attitude with me.
If you ever call them and while you are on hold they will play you their commercial. In it they state that they are the state of the industry in packaging sheetmetal. I wish I could have taken a pic of what they tried to send me. I would have posted it for you guys.
This is my first and last time dealing with Goodmark Industries. How hard is to package something you don't even make and ship it to a customer!!!!
One other thing, there engineering group is a joke as well. They couldn't even tell me the thickness of their aftermarket fenders. What a joke!!!
Thanks for reading. Hope this doesn't happen to you.
