This is gonna be somethin new to me, so i would like some info from some of you guys that have done this. Is it an intense project to do, and do you guys think that it is really worth doing. Im not a hardcore everyweekend wheeler, but i do wheel often and when i do I have a problem whith breaking the crappy stock nissan axle, or tie rods. So do you all think that a straight axle in a nissan is alot better.

How hard, how exspensive is relavent to what your recources are. I'm all for SAS. I've done it and continue to refine it. Some will tell you it's a breeze and can be done cheaply. Others will say you need a 2nd mortgage. People have done hack jobs all the way to factory like. What your budget, skills, wallet, recources, want and/or needs are what will most likely determine the type of build you undertake. If you want SAS tech for Nissans check out www.nissan4wheelers.com Lator...

ND18,
It just might be your lift along with not having a reinforced front end. Calmini makes products for nissan that is tops. There are some weeknesses on the hardbody frontend that they address. Plus they also have an straaight axle kit and tech help just encase you still want to complete your plans I would go with dana 44's their kits is for them. I own an 1996 4x4 nissan 2.4l extended cab that is about to go into chop city for the next year. Good luck on your task. Dave
