JK Muffler Skidplate

On '07 Wrangler JKs, Jeep put a large muffler under the cargo area just behind the rear axle. This arrangement is great for noise reduction, but not so good for rockcrawling. So Kilby Enterprises designed a trick skidplate to protect the vulnerable muffler from damage. Built to be an easy bolt-on, this part fits with the factory receiver as well as the OE tow hook. Made from 3/16-inch steel, this unit will ensure your stock muffler remains intact even under the most extreme conditions. Large heat-dissipation holes keep exhaust heat under control while also adding a unique high-tech look to the vehicle's underside. Each Muffler Skid comes with stainless steel mounting hardware and a black powdercoat finish.
