A Better Torque Converter For Hemi-Powered Rams

Many OE torque converters are equipped with plastic stators. Though the use of plastic saves manufacturers money, the benefits quickly vanish as plastic stators fatigue quickly during high-heat events such as towing heavy loads. TCI is known for building quality torque converters that increase power, efficiency, and mileage. The new TCI Dodge Hemi truck torque converter for 5-45RFE transmissions features an aluminum stator for increased torque multiplication and longer life. Additionally, TCI converters feature furnace-brazed construction and stronger thrust bearings. The result is said to be better power throughout the entire rpm range.
