looking to fit 31"s under my 97 s-10 blazer, was thinking the blazers ran torsion bars if so could i crank the bars up front to get a small lift 1-2" and in back do an axle flip or add blocks, if these things are true and it would work would i have to fit a bigger shock on it what will fit under my s-10 stock with no problems turning or bottoming out

what is the stock tire size?  29?

I don't have a blazer, but a frontier and it came with 30s from factory and i was about to fit 32s with small Tbar crank.

You should look into getting AAL full pack instead of blocks

There is only one realy positive to traction bar lifts: the price. But to my way of thinking, the negatives far outweigh this one positive.
1 - It's very common for this to alter your camber beyond it's adjustment range.
2 - You'll have very little downward suspension travel, and often end up with LESS flex than you had stock.
3 - The ride will SUCK.
4 - Your shocks will probably have to be replaced.
5 - The geometry of your suspension will be screwed up. Meaning that constant practice will make you the Worlds Foremost Expert on replacing balljoints and halfshafts.

There is  several things that I do not agree on at all with this guy but he is pretty much dead on on this one with his answer.

I had a S-10. In order for me to put 31's I put in a 3"bodylift and some minor trimming. It rubbed on the front swaybar a little when locked. Checkout www.s10extremist.org You'll find all kinds of good info there.
