Socalduner,
We are in Federal Way, just south of seattle.
The first year was difficult to get use to the rain. But I stuck it out, and now have no issues with the weather. This summer has been just gorgeous...

Federal Way is nice, I kinda miss the summers up there. I really miss them when it's 117 deg. here like a couple weeks ago.

Hey, I was thinking, I'd be willing to bet that we have a few in the CA chapter that got affected somehow by all the fires, but what would anyone think about   trying to set up a fundraiser event or run?  I'm out in 29 Palms right now, and was thinking if there was anything that we could do to help the people that have lost everything...anyone have any ideas to go with that?  I can come up with an idea, but the details seem to escape me...was thinking some sort of run, a bbq, and say an entry fee with all proceeds to go to whatever organization is helping people in southern cali get back on their feet.
