Hi everyone. Haven't posted over there in a while. Hope to be more more active as soon as I get this pesky cooling issue taken care of.

Hey all, just checking in to see if anyone remembers me...haven't been able to get together with any of you lately, time and money has been really tight (and when I say tight, I mean nonexistent!). Was having problems over at ORW but didn't realize that they were that bad till recently. Anyways, I gotta get some pics, but my wife was just given a 1972 Jeep Commando. Guess it needs a little work to run, water pump, radiator and tires, and then a little more work (ie front and rear D44, lockers, dual stick transfer case, lift kit, winch, tires, etc :P) So I'll get to see it here in a couple of days, it's in Colorado, and I'm going out today. Catch you all when I get back, hopefully meet up and hang out, or maybe do some light wheeling, if I'm lucky!

Just thought I'd say hello Not a big fan of the 4-character minimum on the user names, but I can live with it.
I think sooner than later there's going to be a mass exodus from all the TEN sites if they don't get it together. It already happened to one place, that was started by the original founder of Ford Truck World after TEN shamefully ran him out of the place in a big hurry. It may take a while at FTW because there's a LOT more members there than at the others, but it will happen.

We love Washatonians here! I have a Pacific Northwest Chapter in the works as we speak, but you are ALWAYS welcome here in the CA Chapter. Make sure Chris finds his way over too!

I will make sure Chris gets over here!
I know how difficult it can be to find a new home. I did that almost 2 years ago. It was very difficult at first, making new wheelin' friends, new job, a whole new environment. It took a while (about a year ) but I finally think I am 100% adjusted. I now try to take full advantage of what Washington has to offer (you CA guys need to do that here.) In addition to the awesome, and challenging offroading, I have taken up a couple of new interests, one of them being hiking. WA has some of the best scenery's I have ever experienced. Words can not do it justice. Hey,I even quit smoking to hike. My latest adventure was last month when I hiked Mount Rainer 10,000 ft. to the base camp. The base camp is the last stop before you climb to the peak, which is 14,410 ft. Next year my goal is to climb to the top. When I figures out how to post me some pics , I will get some up of the hike. WOW!! It was so worth it just for the views. I have also taken advantage of what the climate has to offer, I am 100% into gardening (yeah we actually have water in WA) and next year OUR yard will be almost perfect with over 500 flowers.... I guess what I am sayingis, find out what your new home has to offer and enjoy every aspect of it, I know it worked for me here in WA.
One last thing. THE ONLY THING I MISS ABOUT CA IS ALL OF YOU GUYS!!!! That stands true for Chris.

Hey Shortstuff, You dont know me as I was new to orw when we came over here, but where in Wa are you. I lived in Seattle, Mt.Vernon, and Olympia. My company moved me around alot. It is a very beutiful place if you can get used to the rain and it sounds like you have. That's great! I had a hard time with the rain and came back to so.cal. My Daughter lives in Monroe and really likes it. I will have to make a trip up there one of these day's.
