I recently just purchased a '94 4Runner.  It only has 101,000 miles on it and runs strong.  I am wanting to put a lift on it.  I have been looking all over the internet and havent found something that explains, what all i need to have done for a proper lift.  I am also looking to put more power under ther hood. It has the 3.0 V6.  Not sure on an engine swap or a turbo, or what. Any and all suggestions would help.  For the lift, I am not looking for a trail rig right now, but i do hunt and go through rivers and in not nice places.
thanks for the help

in the front any pick up lift kit for the same year should fit and in the rear ur going to need longer coils or spacers, longer links, panhard bar, extended brake and e brake lines and i think thats it.  for the motor your not going to get a huge increase in power unless u drastically modify it.For a reliable daily driver/ weekend warrior i would put on headers, exhaust, intake, chip, and better flowing injectors.  Just make sure u dont overheat the motor cuz they are notorious for head and gasket failures

You know, I haven't really ever seen to many lift kits for 4-Runners... I wonder why, I'd think it would be easy since they are so similar to the trucks... weird.

Be sure and let us know what you do!
