I want to swap in a Nissan V6 out of a 92 Pathfinder into my 91 Hardbody. I will have the complete Pathfinder so my question is-1.how much of the wiring will have to be changed over? 2.will the mounts from my 2.4l work or at least the same point in the frame if i need the V6 mounts? 3.will my 5 speed mount up to the V6 after seperating it from the 4 cyl.(bell housing, flywheel, etc.)? I really don't want to have to go auto, too boring for me. Thanks in advance.

You will need the computer and every bit of the harness that connects to it. Your frame points should be fine, but you will need new mounts. Your tranny should bolt up.

Transmissions are different from 4 cylinder to 6 banger. If the Hardbody you have is a Standard cab it might be easier to swap the body on to the Pathfinder frame. Plus that will give you a cool 5 link coiled rear. Good luck. Lator.....

Body swap was a thought but the Pathfinder's frame is in sad shape to put it nicely and if my bed gets unbolted it is getting replaced(just havn't found a doner with a rust free one-suprise). Rear end swap was definatly a thought anyway, doner Pathfinder has 4 wheel disc(don't know if previously converted or stock,I know some were factory). Thank you for the quick response and advice.
