Here's a list of suppliers:

http://www.ides.com/generics/Polyolefin/Polyolefin_suppliers.htm

Man, why am I doing the job of the four wheeler editors/writers here?! Maybe because I need a job at FW...

My current ride(s):
1991 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer 4x4
2002 Subaru Outback Rocky Mtn. Edition

Thanks to the Jeep Cherokee guys out there, we have a bunch of Explorers with no rear axles!

Thanks!  I also found a supplier at this link:

http://www.mcmaster.com/

If you scroll down to the bottom and look in the Raw Materials section you can click on Plastics, then go to the "Sheets, Bars, Strips & Cubes" link and find this High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE).  Select the thickness, length & width you want and order it.  I found a 1/2" thick 48" x 8' sheet costs $196 before shipping.

Cool! So are you going to buy a sheet of it?

My question is about a past moth-balled project. Ultimate Super duty. Will it be pawned off (to one of you lucky individuals inside FourWheeler??) And i have tried liek a dickens to find the manufacture of that front bumper with no luck. I ended up making my own, but still interested in th egetting ht einfo for future projects.

The "Ultimate Super Duty" was built by Petersen's 4-Wheel & Off-Road Magazine, not Four Wheeler. And it will remain property of the magazine until it dies, we don't get hand-me-down project vehicles (unfortunately)

Have you tried hostile takeovers? That tends to get you what you want...

(Yes, I got that phrase from the latest 'Readers Rigs', don't be hatin' on me!)

Hostile takeover is cool and all until it comes time to register it, then the government starts asking questions and the police get involved... yea... doesn't work... lol

I can clarify more for ya too... our parent company used to be Primedia (not Prime Media) but a little over a year ago we were bought by a company called Source Interlink Media. And trust me, I share in your confusion and I'm a part of the machine!
