Howdy all, i just wanted to share my feelings about leaving orw. I see that some are posting on there about the mass exodous to this fine new site. I would just hope that we don't make ourselves to look like a-holes in doing so! Remeber that site as bad as it was, was FREE! Yes it sucked at times, but we were not paying for it.

That site is also the reason that many of us met, and while i don't get to wheel with you guys very often, i do consider you all friends.

So i hope that we can all be adult about the obsolving of the orw ca chapter, and show some decorum. Thanks for hearing me out on this subject!

But I do agree, there is no need to post there, no need to make any comments, we are all adults and we chose to move here, lets all be respectable to our old friends.

Like I've stated before ya Cali guys was the only ones really keeping it going...When I first went there it was great but then died....Thought about leaving but you guys had so many great pics and made it fun to read...  

I disagree. That site does/did use spyware for marketing. The never repsonded to inquiry. From me atleast. The President wasn't informed about anything. No offense to you Kevin. But they did keep you in the dark. Whatever happened with the pics and vids they asked for. How were they gonna use them. If they make a profit off them do we get a cut. Thats why i didn't submit anything. The company is highly unethical in their operations and is only interested in marketing products. Not the loyalty of its members. Nor the growth of the boards. They just wanted you to see those really dumb commercials. They tried real hard at that. How userfriendly was it to use? I couldn't beleive the maze of crap I had to go through to put up an avatar! How long were they bashed on their own boards and NEVER, NEVER, interjected? They never said what do you huys think. How many of you ever seen someone who ran the board post? if so how long ago? They never tried to calm the fire. So if you ask me Burn Baby Burn!

nobody said anything directly but it seems that it wasn't appreciated by quite a few people so i decided to erase it

after reading posts, I guess this will best sum it up on my part....

When I joined ORW almost 3 years ago, it seemed like a forum "for the people", it was great!!!
as of late it has commercialized, do to the fact some fat  ***  in his big leather chair, in his nice corprate window office has decided that making money off the Tens magazines subscibers just wasn't enough anymore!! It has become about the corprate dollar!

it served a porpose for quite a while, now it has become just plain dissapointing!  

I agree that ORW is where many of us met and still go wheelin' with, but now we have a ground start and the possibility of making this a great chapter and a cool place to hang out without the issues of the other place.  

No don't want to be. Just am at times. Ziggy sumed it up pretty well. I've only met a couple of you guys and everyone is cool to wheel with. Thats why I jumped ship with the rest of you.
