If u fill your tires with helium will it make your truck a better mud bogger?
Is it better to run your tires backwards on the front or the back?

lol im just saying would helium make you float more?
And if you run your tires backwards and the front and your get stuck, you will get more tcaction if you attempt to back up, if you run them backwards on the back when in fourwheel drive it makes it like a fwd when backing up. It would pull you out of everthing, instead of pushing! And insnt pulling things easier then pushing?

I am sure I am going to regreat asking, but please, tell us all exactly what magazine would encourage you to put helium in your tires.
"Mad Magazine" is probably not a good resource for technical advise...

You defiantly didn't read that in one of our magazines...lol

Helium, no, doesn't work. Sure it is lighter than air, but when you save .001 lbs by converting it doesn't make much of a difference on a 5000 lb truck. A balloon maybe, not a truck. Or even a tire by its self for that matter. If you can get a tire to float by its self, then you may be onto something, but it aint gonna happen.

And about the tires. Running certain directional tires backwards does work for some people in some situations. This is what you may have read in one of our magazines because people do ask about it. But the way you are talking, having one set facing one way and one set the other, won't make a lick of difference. If your stuck, your stuck.

LOL If he reads things "defiantly" does that mean you're assuming he's a teenager?
I think the problem with even the limited situations you mention is that the evidence is entirely subjective and anecdotal; there's really no way to test the claims. Was it the tire direction, or the slightly different line, or the weather conditions, or tire pressure, or that fart bomb you dropped at just the right moment to give you that extra boost....
