While the new layout is not bad the colors selections being used and font size is really a bad combo and very tuff to read at times. If you want to use a black back ground you need to use brighter font colors and slightly bigger font too if you want good readability by all readers.

I like the lay out idea, however its the ads that are distracting in my opinion. I would rather see the ads off to one side and bottom instead of mixed with the articles. Seems very confusing to sort throught all the mess. And I agree that the font could be changed as well. Besides that, I will continue to sort through no matter what happens with this page.
