Hello Im fairly new to this and own a 1998 s10 blazer and have been having trouble trying to find much info on them. Does anyone know any good s10 blazer sites or where i would find out what kind of parts are stock (axles, rear ends, gears, etc) thanks for any help Trevor

It has a 7.2 diamter ring gear front IFS and a 7.5 inch rear axle (not much meat to work with) and axle ratio could be GU4(3.08), GU5(3.23), GU6(3.42) or maybe a GT4(3.73).

Your best bet to find out your personal specs on that truck with out tearing it apart would be to go to a local Chevrolet dealer and have them look up your serial numbers and that can tell you exactly what your truck has as far as gears and what not

You could do that but the options are listed in codes on a sticker located in glovebox.
