How about finding and rebuilding a old 440 and putting it in it? The 440 was offered for a time in the mid to late 70's in the Ramcharger and made it the most powerful vehicle in its type/class at the time.

V-10 into a Ram Charger... well that sounds interesting...

I agree with Sno though, the 440 was offered, and will fit for sure. The V10 may have fitment issues, plus it would be a completly custom buildup from the wiring to the plumbing to the drivetrain... everything.

Let us know how it goes!

I was around and driving when those 440 powered Dodge 4x4's where new and they were beasts to drive even in their choked emissions state. I even remember driving a Dodge 4x4 P/U new with a diesel back then when they offered it for a few years with a 6 cylinder diesel in P/U's of Japan origin as I recall. Been driving 4x4 since late 60's and I have seen a lot of change and a lot of it not for the better. Modern fuel injected engines have their merits but I still remember and like some of the old low tech carb feed engines of the old days which would really get you attention when you put you foot into them even in a heavy 4x4 when properly setup.

Yes they did use the 6 cylinder Mitsubishi diesel in Dodges back then.
